Short on time, tall with ambition, San Francisco chef Kathryne Bennett hired Mark to design a logo (slide 1 displays final logo design, slide 2 displays some of the exploration along the way), a menu and a WordPress website to promote a pop-up dinner event that was to commence within a two month time period in 2014. Bionda, a locavore kitchen concept featuring multi-course journeys through Northern Italy, continued the series of pop-up events every six-to-eight weeks for about two years for which Tastebuds provided support. In 2021, Tastebuds occasionally helps the chef with her pickled vegetable business.
